Tajikistan Constitution

The Constitution of Tajikistan was adopted in 1994 and several amendments are made through 2003.

Tajikistan Court System

The Supreme Court is the highest court. Other high courts include the Supreme Economic Court and the Constitutional Court, which decides questions of constitutionality. The president appoints the judges of these three courts, with the approval of the legislature. There is also a Military Court. The judges of all courts are appointed to 10-year terms.
