Introduction to State Responsibility

Every State has its full power and sovereign control over its municipal law. In general, International Law does not interfere with the internal law of the state. However, at times, the State is held responsible, directly or vicariously for the acts of its nationals.

Types of State Responsibility

State responsibility arises in the following manners:
