Section 82 of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
These provisions are brought in to so as to overcome the criticism in regard to the 'Courts interference in arbitral proceedings' of the [Arbitration Act, 1940]]. With this, the High Court is empowered to make the necessary rules consistent with the Act.
Further, the Central Government and State Government are empowered to amend, alter, change or incorporate any provisions of the CPC, Limitation Act and Arbitration Act because they fall under Concurrent List of the Constitution of India.
