Conciliation

Conciliation is the process of bringing opponents to harmony.

Conciliator is the person who takes up the task of bringing the parties into harmony.

Conciliation can be applied to disputes arising out of legal relationship, contractual or not, and to all proceedings relating thereto.

Part III of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 - Sections 82 to 86 deal with Conciliation.
